Phone Number Porting / Number Transfer (Land lines)
We offer number porting and services designed to reduce your overall calling charges. Transferring any of your existing numbers to our service is quick and simple. The process is:1) Tell us your current number and a few details and we will do the rest
2) Porting your number will take between 5 and 10 working days.
3) The switchover itself would happen over night to ensure no disruption of service
Generally porting a number or line takes approximately 10 days. Below are some additional approximate time scales and details to consider and plan for:
• 1 single line request = 10 working days
• Up to 10 single lines = 20 working days
• Simple DDI = 22 working days
• Complex DDI = 27 working days
• ISDN30e DDI's = 20 working days
• ISDN2e DDI's = 15 to 20 working days
With City Telecom Porting Numbers is FREE of charge. However, there are some blocks of DDI numbers under ISDN30e and ISDN2e that do carry a charge. If there is a charge, we will contact you immediately to let you know (to obtain your approval) before proceeding with the process.
