Environmental and Green Responsibilities 

City Telecom has been practicing good environmental sustainability working methods everywhere we have had the opportunity. Some of these areas include common sense practices such as:

•    Office related efforts – low energy bulbs, switching off computer systems at night, power save programs,
     recycling, etc
•    Our Hosting Services are located at energy efficient data centres
•    Promoting telecom products and services that are multi-functional, and reduced power consumption by design
•    Implementing time efficient automated systems that provide our customers fast self-services options as a first
      line of support as well as the information they require
•    Saving Trees - Performing electronic based transactions and operations, versus other a paper based methods
•    Supporting environment groups and companies that promote the reduction of climate foot prints
•    Foster a culture of environmental responsibility among employees and management

Our ongoing plans are to continue good environmental practices on a day to day basis. Additionally, we are also looking into offering our customers a choice to make donations to environment organisations, or programs such as reforestation on every order they place with City Telecom.
