Business Grade Broadband (SDSL) for Assured Services
City Telecom's SDSL service allows the uploading and downloading at the same speeds for either 1Mbps or 2Mbps services. SDSL is a business grade assured service that can run at a 1:1 contention ratio, whereas ADSL2+ is contentions are delivered at either 20:1 or 50:1.
SDSL is an ideal solution for comapnies who need more guaranteed bandwidth available in each direction for requirements such as voice applications, video and audio applications to one or multiple locations, and for those companies who need to move / transfer large files between offices or to customers and suppliers.
These services are provided from LLU enabled exchanges, and the bandwidth is delivered on a symmetric basis. Additional characteristics of our SDSL include:
